Meet Jesse Ryno

Our resident professional athlete

Jesse Ryno represents the next generation of elite performance—where leadership, discipline, and long-term vision matter as much as physical strength. A former captain of Georgetown University’s rowing team, Jesse’s collegiate career was defined not only by results, but by the trust placed in him as a leader. That foundation now carries forward into his post-collegiate training as he continues to pursue rowing at the highest level.

Today, Jesse trains at Craftsbury Outdoor Center, one of the most respected elite endurance training environments in the world. Home to full-time rowers and biathletes, Craftsbury is a place where athletes live, train, and recover with singular focus. The program is sponsored by the founders of Concept2 (and we couldn’t be more grateful) — an institution synonymous with rowing excellence — and is designed for athletes with national and international ambitions. It’s here that Jesse sharpens every aspect of his performance, immersed in a culture that values precision, resilience, and relentless progress.

This past summer, Jesse represented the United States at the World University Games in Germany, competing in the Men’s Four (and winning the B final. See the exciting race below) — an experience that marked an important step onto the international stage. His training reflects the same philosophy that guides Iron House Design: performance is built deliberately, over time, through environments that support both physical output and mental clarity. And while our support of Jesse is deeply personal — he is, after all, our son — we see this sponsorship as the beginning of something broader. Our long-term goal is to support and sponsor future athletes, in some way, who share the same discipline, ambition, and commitment to excellence at the highest levels of sport.
